This major partnership brings together seven leading brands: Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, Excess, Fountaine PajotSailing Catamarans, Fountaine Pajot Yachts, and Dufour — representing nearly 60% of the global sailing market.

The goal is clear: make electric and hybrid sailing solutions more accessible, more affordable, and more efficient for boat owners worldwide.

Today, over 99% of sailing yachts still rely on combustion engines for manoeuvring, propulsion, and onboard energy needs. E-Lektra Marine aims to change that by developing advanced hybrid and full-electric systems that manage not only propulsion, but also total onboard energy autonomy — including solar power, batteries, generators, shore power, and real-time energy optimization.

The system currently known as ODSea+ at Fountaine Pajot and Dufour will continue to evolve under this new partnership, with stronger technology development, a wider global after-sales service network, and improved distribution.

By combining production volumes across seven major brands, the companies expect to significantly reduce production costs and make electric solutions more competitively priced for customers.

The product range will cover sailing yachts from 9 to 24 meters and will include:

• Full electric systems

• Low-voltage hybrid solutions

• High-voltage hybrid configurations

• Refit solutions for existing boats

• Global after-sales support

The ambitious target: electrify 10–15% of the global sailing market by 2030 — representing several hundred boats per year.

This is one of the most important steps the sailing industry has seen toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future.

Electric sailing is no longer the future — it is becoming the new standard.
